At the Mitsuki Kyoto Ryokan you can not only stay in a traditional Japanese house but you can also enjoy a drink (or more) at our house bar. You will love our traditional wooden bar and the warm and cosy atmosphere around here. At the end of a day walking around Kyoto it is nice to step by for a glass of wine before going out for diner.
You can choose among a great selection of alcohol. Are you more into classics, such as Gin Tonic, Spritz or a glass of red wine ? We have famous wines from all over Europe : France, Italy, Germany. It is up to you !
Or maybe it is time to try something new and taste one of our famous Japanese Whisky or Sake. Did you know that the Whisky production in Japan began around 1870 and now it is famous all around the world ?You can also order a well known cocktail in Japan called “Highball” made with Whisky and soda water. If you are a lemon fan, don’t leave the bar before trying our “Lemon Sour”… A cocktail made with lemon juice, Shochu and soda water, very simple and tasty !
And to end perfectly your day in a Japanese way, after a nice traditional meal, you can enjoy Sake, an alcoholic beverage made from fermented rice, water and yeast.
The Mitsuki Bar is opened from 6 to 11 PM, the last order must be made at 10.30 PM. Please check our Instagram account to see all the latest news and the opening days of the month : @mitsukibarkyoto
